APC Convention: Kwara APC Delegates Not Stranded In Abuja- Party Chieftain


The Kwara State Chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) led by Bashiru Omolaja Bolarinwa has debunked rumors flying on social media that their delegates to National Convention were stranded in Abuja.

A source within the faction said about 200 delegates from Kwara State arrived Federal Capital Territory Friday evening amidst funfair.

They were later lodged at different Hotels in highbrow area of Abuja where the executives warmly host them.

Some of the delegates in chat with our correspondent commended the leadership for warm hospitality given to them in Abuja.


A delegate said: "We are feeling at home here in the hotel. I like the arrangements put in place by our leaders. I can confidently say this is one the best political outings have attended in the recent time. It sad to hear that the other group are spreading rumors about being stranded in Abuja.


"They have served us breakfast as early as 7am, what else do you expect".


Meanwhile, the Publicity Secretary of BOB faction, Kayode Oyin Zubair has urged delegates and members to disregard the rumors, stating that they will all smile during and after today's convention.

"We are on the winning side, I urge our people to remain calm. We are confident that party delegates accross the country would support Lanre Onilu for the post of National Publicity Secretary of our great party." Oyin Zubair added.
